TogTools Update // July 2015

TogTools Update // July 2015

Hello! Long time no blog…

Some of you have been contacting us, wondering what we’ve been up to. First, we want to apologize for not communicating clearly about our plans moving forward. You see, I (Jess) was very pregnant as we were wrapping up podcast interviews last year. Meet Ryan!

2015628_Ryan_0009

We fully intended on taking a brief hiatus and starting back up with the podcast as soon as Ryan was a couple of months old. And then life happened. You know, when a bunch of unexpected things just hit you left and right. We had some major plumbing issues. Our nanny found out she needed rotator cuff surgery and was going to be out for at least 6 months. We had a terrible loss in the family. We were all sick…a lot. And the weeks and months kept passing by very quickly.

Stephen and I have had quite a few heart-to-heart chats during this time away. We agreed on a couple of things:

  1. A New FYP – we are refining First Year Photographer to provide you with an even better program as you start your photography business! We are so thankful for each and every one of our students that has been through the program so far! We have heard amazing feedback from them, but we still know there are ways we can improve. Be sure to sign up here to be the first to know when we relaunch: Add me to the FYP List!

  2. Farewell to the TogTools Podcast – this one is a little bittersweet for us. We initially thought about changing the format, but decided that we wanted to focus our energy elsewhere. For now, we will leave our podcast archive available online, so be sure to check it out if you haven’t already. We also encourage you to check out our friend Bryan Caporicci over at Sprouting Photographer Podcast!

Stay tuned for the next phase of TogTools!

xo
